UL CLASS A APPROVALS: COMBUSTIBLE WOOD DECK

ACFoam®-HD CoverBoard-FR was developed with the same inorganic coated glass facers as ACFoam®-III. ACFoam-HD CoverBoard-FR facers are bonded to a high-density polyiso foam core that offers increased dimensional stability and helps meet a UL Class A Rating in combustible roof deck assemblies. ATLAS COMBUSTIBLE WOOD DECK UL CLASS A ASSEMBLIES:

Max. Slope: ½”
Incline is limited to the current rating of the UL Classified TPO, PVC or EPDM membranes with ACFoam-II or ACFoam-III insulations but cannot exceed ½” slope.

  1. Combustible deck
  2. Optional–ACFoam-II or ACFoam-III, any thickness, mechanically fastened
  3. Minimum 0.625ʺ ACFoam-HD CoverBoard-FR, mechanically fastened with butt joints in the insulation staggered 6ʺ from butt joints in the plywood deck
  4. Any UL Classified TPO, PVC, EPDM membrane (any thickness), that is currently classified to be used with ACFoam-II or ACFoam-III insulation, mechanically fastened or fully adhered

Max. Slope: ¾ʺ
Membrane must be currently classified for use over the insulation used. Actual incline is determined by the maximum existing membrane/insulation classification incline.

  1. Combustible deck
  2. Two layers FR-10
  3. Optional–Any UL Classified insulation, any thickness (Except EPS and wood fiberboard)
  4. Any UL Classified PVC, CPE, CSM, CSPE, EPDM, NBP, PIB, TPO, EIP or TRE membrane

Max. Slope: ½ʺ
The maximum incline shall be in accordance with the classification established for the membrane/insulation roofing assembly, however the incline cannot exceed ½ʺ.

  1. Combustible deck
  2. A minimum 3ʺ layer of ACFoam-III or ACFoam-III NH, or a minimum two layers of 1.5ʺ of ACFoam-III or ACFoam-III NH
  3. Any UL Classified roofing membrane used in any UL Class A roofing assembly to achieve a Class A Fire Classification

Max. Slope: ½ʺ
The maximum incline shall be in accordance with the classification established for the membrane/insulation roofing assembly, however the incline cannot exceed ½ʺ.

  1. Combustible deck
  2. FR-10
  3. 1.5ʺ of ACFoam-III or ACFoam-III NH
  4. Reference UL Product iQ™ for approved membranes

Max. Slope: No Limitation

  1. Combustible deck
  2. Minimum 0.625ʺ ACFoam®-HD CoverBoard-FR, mechanically fastened with butt joints in the insulation staggered 6ʺ from butt joints in the plywood deck
  3. Base Sheet (Optional) – Type 15 or 30 or any UL Classified self-adhering underlayment
  4. UL Classified coated steel roofing panels (26 GA minimum)
